This project looks to extend the living spaces of an Edwardian terraced home whilst reconnecting its interior with a verdant garden, long-separated by lean-to accretions.

The plan of the new rooms follows the sense of the home’s original layout with parallel bands of living and service spaces running from street to garden. To be constructed in stock brick and timber, the building’s massing and fenestration emerges from the nature of the internal spaces and the handed terrace’s alternating hierarchy of openings.

Planning permission was secured in the summer of 2017.
