• Practice

    Chan Brisco Architects is a studio creating characterful and lasting buildings and spaces. Formed in 2016, its members are experienced in the design of spaces for living, work and the arts. Based in both London and Bristol, the practice has worked on projects across the UK and in Northern Europe. Its cofounders combine architectural practice with education, leading design studios on two undergraduate courses whilst acting as guest critics to a number of UK universities.

  • Nicola ChanBA (Hons) DipArch ARB

    Nicola studied at the University of Sheffield and London Metropolitan University, before working with a number of respected practices. These include 6a architects and Carl Turner Architects in London and Emmett Russell Architects in Bristol. She leads a third year undergraduate studio at the Welsh School of Architecture, has acted as visiting critic at the University of the West of England, and is a cofounder of Chan Brisco Architects.

  • Thom BriscoBA (Hons) DipArch ARB

    Having studied at the University of Sheffield, the Glasgow School of Art and the University of Cambridge, Thom has since worked for two years with Jamie Fobert Architects and for over four years with Duggan Morris Architects. He runs an undergraduate studio at Kingston School of Art, supports a third year unit at the Welsh School of Architecture, and regularly visits other schools as an invited critic. Thom is a cofounder of Chan Brisco Architects.
